Utility crowd control posts are perfect for fairs, flea markets, and other venues where an inexpensive portable metal post is desired. These crowd control posts feature low cost as well as light weight for portability. Our Utility model stanchions come in 2 models.

  • The SRUTILITY @ $20.00 has a 5 lb galvanized 8" x 14" steel plate and a 2.2 lb, 11/2" O.D. aluminum post with a heavy duty .065" wall thickness. The base has three holes, one centered and two along the edges. The edge holes allow the stanchions to be positioned close to walls if that is desired. Bases can be doubled up for extra weight (see order page)
  • The SRUTILITYSB@ $20.50 has a 5 lb 11" x 11" black painted steel plate and a 11/2" O.D. aluminum post with a heavy duty .065" wall thickness. The base has two holes, one centered and one along the edge. The edge hole allows the stanchions to be positioned close to walls if that is desired. Bases can not be doulbed.

Although the Utility crowd control posts can be used with decorative ropes, plastic chain is ideally suited for these stanchions.

Plastic stanchions provide an economical solution to traffic control needs. They are especially suitable for use outdoor use. Stanchions are sold individually and in cartons of six. Each stanchion has a top, a post, and a base. Stanchions are available in white or black.

Deluxe roto-cast base plastic stanchions. @ $44.05 individually, $220.05 case of six. Our exclusive deluxe model plastic stanchions have a heavy duty roto-cast one piece base. These plastic stanchions are designed for applications where durability is essential. One piece base construction means that repeated assembly and disassembly of these plastic stanchions will not damage the base of the stanchion. There are no glued seams to split apart like or competitiors' stanchions. These deluxe plastic stanchion bases can be filled with water, sand or gravel for added stability

Standard base plastic stanchions. @ $21.95 individually, $120.00 case of six. Thes bases for our standard model plastic stanchions have two part blow molded parts - a short plug to secure the post and the base and the base itself. These bases can be filled with sand or grave (but not water) for added stability.

Plastic Chain - Sold by the foot - fits into a slot at the top of a plastic stanchion. There is no need for S Hooks or Connecting links to connect plastic chain to plastic stanchions.
